How To Care for Your Heated Apparel

Your ororo heated apparel is built for lasting warmth, but a little TLC ensures it performs at its best after repeated use.

Do's
Washing
  • Remove the battery before washing Prevent damage to electronic components
  • Machine wash in cold water (30°C/86°F maximum) Delicate or hand wash cycle
  • Use a mild, non-toxic, and biodegradable detergent Use the down-specific detergent if it is a down garment
  • Separate loads by color (lights/darks) and fabric weight Preserve color and prevent damage from friction
  • Use a mesh laundry bag Protect delicate fabrics and keep small pieces secure
Spot-cleaning
  • Use a wet, lint-free cloth to clean stains/dirt Loosen dirt/stains without leaving streaks

To maximize the performance and lifespan of your ororo battery, follow the essential guidelines below.

  • Unplug after full charge Avoid overnight or extended charging
  • Disconnect when not in use Remove the battery from the pocket and store it separately
Critical safety warnings
  • No exposure to flames or extreme heat Can cause battery damage or an explosion
  • Never immerse in water Risk of combustion or explosion hazards
  • Remove before washing apparel Can cause the battery to malfunction
  • Don't leave the battery uncharged long-term Can permanently damage battery capacity
Storage guidelines
  • Storage temperature: 10-25°C (optimal). Never store below 0°C.
  • Storage environment: Cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight.
  • Storage handling: Do not stack or apply pressure.
  • Storage capacity: 60-80% charge
  • Recharge frequency: Every 3-6 months
