I'm a mom of two amazing teenage girls, a 27 time marathoner, a high school cross-country & track coach, an avid music fan, and a coffee addict.
Reason to join the ORORO Squad
I live in New England and coach high school Cross Country (XC) and Track year-round(honestly, enough said). But seriously, we have some painfully cold, late fall, winter and early spring days and I'm outside for hours. The vest is on and heated whenever needed!! I also ski in New Hampshire at Cannon Mountain during the winter. It's even colder up there. If I could have a heated one piece suit, I'd wear it. I really struggle with the cold. and the vest has been a total game changer for me. Life saving. No exaggeration.
What’s your favorite thing about ORORO?
It's a quality product that works and it's just awesome.
What are the best 3 words to describe yourself?
Driven, gritty, dorky - I love to work hard and I am constantly trying to achieve big goals. I'm not afraid to do whatever it takes to make it happen which is often somewhat different at 46 years old. I'm a little dorky, not much more to say about that one.
Please share a short story about an important challenge that you've overcome (in your life, hobby, or profession):
When I was 43, I broke three hours in the marathon. It was a goal I'd set for myself in 2015 and it took me nine attempts to finally get it.
I also served as a guide for blind runners at the Boston Marathon for four years. In 2018, my runner and I ran through a flood. Easily one of the hardest things I've ever done and an accomplishment for which I am incredibly proud.
