ORORO Heated Apparel Battery Guide [2025 Updated]
Our ororo heated apparel, including jackets, gloves, and more, uses various battery types for the best heating performance and comfort. This guide provides the key information you need, whether you're exploring wearable technology or just curious about your gear.

Types of ORORO Batteries
- PD 5K Apparel Battery
- PD 7K Apparel Battery
- PD 10K Apparel Battery
- Mini 5K Apparel Battery
- B19G Apparel Battery
- B22A Gloves Battery
- B25A Gloves Battery
We offer two main types of batteries for our apparel and accessories.
For heated clothing like jackets, sweatshirts, and vests, we use the PD series, Mini 5K, and B19G batteries, with capacities ranging from 4800mAh to 10150mAh. These batteries typically charge in 2 to 4 hours, depending on the model and charger type. Since heated clothing covers larger areas, higher capacity and output are necessary. For example, the PD5K battery (the smallest in the PD series) has been tested to provide up to 10 hours of heating.
For heated accessories (such as gloves, home items, and pet wear), we use the B22A and B25A batteries, with capacities from 2000mAh to 2200mAh. When designing our heated gloves and mittens, we prioritized creating a battery small enough to fit comfortably in the tiny pockets. The B25A battery, compatible with most heated accessories, measures 3.15" x 2.30" x 0.67" and weighs just 3.7 oz (105g), ensuring minimal weight and maximum comfort.
While both types of ororo batteries can technically be used interchangeably, we recommend using the battery type designed specifically for your product to ensure optimal performance and comfort. We do not advise using batteries from other brands to charge our heated apparel or accessories, as any damage caused by non-ororo batteries will not be covered by our warranty.
Charging Your ORORO Battery
1. Fully charge the battery before first use
When you first receive your ororo battery, please fully charge it before first use. If the battery has been unused for a long time, it may go dormant, resulting in a slight reduction in capacity. A full charge will restore normal performance.
2. Charge in a normal room temperature condition.
The safe charging range is between 32°F and 113°F (0°C to 45°C). Avoid charging in extreme cold or hot temperatures, as this can damage the battery's capacity and shorten its lifespan.
To reduce environmental impact, we no longer include a charger with our battery pack. You can use your existing charger, whether it's a standard or fast charger. If you need to purchase one, check out our 5V 3A Charger or 33W Dual Port Charger.
How can I tell if the battery is fully charged?

Storing Your ORORO Battery
1. Keep the battery partially charged
If you're storing the battery for a long period, don’t keep it fully charged. It's best to store it when the battery has about two lights remaining.
2. Charge every 6 months
To maintain battery performance, charge it every 6 months, even if not in use.
3. Store at a moderate temperature
Keep the battery in a room with a temperature of 77°F (±2°F).
4. Avoid moisture
Store the battery in a dry place with a relative humidity of 60% (±15%)
