Sure, you can wear it on the plane. All ororo heated apparel is TSA-friendly. All ororo batteries are lithium batteries and you must keep them in your carry-on luggage.

Will the heated apparel work at temperatures below 32℉/0℃?
Yes, it will still work well. However, if you’re going to spend a lot of time in sub-zero temperatures, we recommend you purchase a spare battery so you don’t run out of heat!

I already own an Ororo heated vest for playing Golf in the winter and love it! This particular purchase was for a friend who had been recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer and would be going through Chemo treatments which I understand can make you feel cold. I wanted her to feel comfotable and comforted during a stressful time. She's told me how much it helped her during treatment and was greatful to have received it as a gift. Thanks for making a great product that can have multiple uses, not just keeping you warm during outdoor activity but also comforted indoors as well.

The best is really good although it runs smaller than the size chart would suggest. If close to upper end go larger.
