Women’s Classic Heated Jacket

Hi I’m Heather! I’m 27 years old from Houston, Texas. I will graduate from nurse anesthetist school in December and am a former pediatric cardiovascular ICU nurse. I went to the University of Texas, Hook ‘em Horns, and currently attend Baylor College of Medicine. When I’m not hitting the books or caring for patients in the operating room, you can find me spending time with family, friends, and my two rescue dogs. I love hanging out on the boat and have been active in water sports since I was 6. I’ve been thrown off tubes more times than I can count! Fitness is one of my biggest hobbies. I’m always ready to try a new Pilates or barre class or a run outdoors!

Reason to join the ORORO Squad

I am a registered nurse anesthetist and I am always freezing in the operating room (OR). I also have Raynaud’s disease and being in a cold operating room exacerbates this. ORORO was the only product I found to keep me warm in the OR so I can continue caring for my patients without freezing. It has also kept me warm on many ranch trips. Although it doesn’t get incredibly cold in Texas, ORORO has provided me so much comfort.

What’s your favorite thing about ORORO?

I truly love how generous and caring the brand is. I have had multiple interactions with the brand via social media and giveaways. It’s truly evident how much ORORO cares about the consumer and their passion for adventure. I feel like ORORO’s values align with mine as an anesthesia provider and healthcare worker.

What are the best 3 words to describe yourself?

The best 3 words to describe myself are compassionate, loyal, and hardworking. I exemplify compassion for my patients everyday. I’m loyal to a fault to those I care about and would do anything for my family and friends. I’ve always been a hard worker through nursing school and now CRNA school. I strive for success, but know that it doesn’t always come easily and takes lots of dedication and hard work.
