Celebrating 9 Years of Togetherness: A Thank-You Letter from the ororo Team

Dear ororo Family,

As we celebrate our 9th anniversary in October, we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you. This incredible milestone would not be possible without the support of every one of you in the ororo community. Over the past nine years, you’ve helped us grow into more than just a brand—you’ve helped us build a family that believes in warmth, comfort, and bringing people closer together.

At ororo, our mission has always been about keeping you warm, not just to protect you from the elements but to ensure you can stay connected with the ones you love. From chilly sports events to outdoor adventures, our heated apparel is designed to help you create lasting memories, no matter the weather. The theme of our anniversary, 9 Years of Togetherness, reflects that commitment. It's a reminder that warmth brings us all closer, fostering moments of happiness, comfort, and connection.

Looking Back on Our Journey Together

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of supporting our community in many meaningful ways. Some moments that stand out include:

• Last year, in 2023, ororo teamed up with the WRCF to donate heated coats to Mobile Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to helping homeless youth in Loudoun County. It was an incredible experience to give back and help those in need, especially during the cold months.

• In 2022, we had the honor of donating heated vests to cancer patients at Bellin Health. Hearing how these vests provided comfort to patients going through treatment was deeply moving and reinforced the impact our gear can have in people's lives.

• In 2021, we donated hundreds of heated vests to the CORE Foundation to support their COVID-19 relief efforts. These vests were specifically provided to frontline workers and volunteers engaged in outdoor relief activities during the pandemic, helping them stay warm while carrying out critical work in cold weather conditions.

• We’re also incredibly proud of our ongoing support for winter sports teams, including the United States Bobsled & Skeleton (USABS) and the United States Snowboard Racing Team (USSRT). By providing gear and support, we’re helping young athletes stay warm while they pursue their dreams in winter sports. 

This month, we have raised a fundraising event for USSRT with donations from our customers and we match the donations with heated apparel for double support.

These moments, along with countless stories shared by our customers, are what make us so proud to continue creating heated apparel that serves a purpose beyond warmth. Your stories of perseverance, kindness, and community have motivated us every day to improve and innovate.
