Gearing Up for the 150th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show
ororo® Adds the Warmth and Innovation to Westminster’s Legendary Stage
Competitors from all across the globe have been preparing over the past year for the 150th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. This weekend marks the Westminster Kennel Club’s epic three-day, three-night competitive event and will feature over 3,000 champion dogs from around the world, culminating in the coveted Best in Show award. Westminster’s “Canine Celebration” will kick off Westminster Week on Saturday, January 31, at the Javits Center in New York City and feature a variety of showstopping activities, including last year’s hugely popular Flyball Tournament at Westminster and the 13th Annual Masters Agility Championship presented by Purina Pro Plan.
Founded with the goal of empowering our customers to live and move freely, ororo® Heated Apparel is honored to be named the Official Heated Apparel Partner of the 150th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. In celebration of ororo’s recent 10-year anniversary and the Westminster Kennel Club’s 150th anniversary, ororo created limited-edition co-branded heated apparel for fans and competitors alike. And, as the WKC’s Official Heated Apparel Partner, ororo will be present at the competition events taking place at the Javits Center and Madison Square Garden in New York City this weekend for fans and competitors to stop by, try on, and purchase ororo gear in person throughout the dog show.

The Road to Westminster
To kick off the partnership, ororo wanted to immediately support WKC ambassadors and athletes who would be competing at the 150th Dog Show. ororo Heated Apparel is designed to help trainers, competitors, and canines focus during chilly training sessions, early morning walks, and more. We worked with WKC to send ororo Heated Apparel pieces to WKC ambassadors and competitors for these individuals to showcase their preparation journey for the 150th WKC Dog Show. Thank you to all of the ambassadors and competitors who shared their training journey online and highlighted our heated apparel. Good luck at the Dog Show this weekend!
Limited-Edition Co-Branded WKC x ororo Heated Apparel
To commemorate both ororo and WKC’s major anniversary milestones, the ororo team designed Limited-Edition Co-Branded WKC x ororo Heated Apparel. Four select styles feature WKC custom embroidery in WKC brand colors, four heating zones, and water and wind-resistant fabric, all powered by ororo’s proprietary heating technology and UL-Certified battery. These pieces are perfect for a day of training, competing, and even for day-to-day wear.
If you want your four-legged friend to complement and match your co-branded WKC x ororo Heated Apparel, ororo also has the Koldpwoof Heated Dog Vest, available in yellow and blue. Similar to human wear, this gear is designed to keep dogs comfortable with four heating zones, water and wind-resistant fabric, powered by ororo’s proprietary heating technology and UL-Certified battery.

As the Official Heated Apparel Provider, ororo will be having a major activation at this weekend’s festivities. ororo is honored to be outfitting judges, referees, competitors, and the WKC team with our Limited-Edition Co-Branded WKC x ororo Heated Apparel. WKC members will also receive 10% off their purchase at the Dog Show this weekend.
In addition, ororo will be having a large booth activation where fans and competitors can purchase ororo gear for both humans and dogs. Products for sale include our Limited-Edition Co-Branded WKC x ororo Heated Apparel and other popular dog trainer and competitor ororo Heated Apparel picks. ororo will be showcasing our Koldpwoof Heated Dog Vest and our newest additions to our heated apparel for dogs, our Snøwoof 3-Zone Heated Dog Puffer Vest and our Koldpwoof 4-Zone Heated Dog Vest with LED Lights.
Heated apparel is not the only thing going on at the ororo booth! ororo will also have a photobooth in the ororo activation where fans, competitors, and pups can take photos with fun WKC and ororo co-branded props, and of course show off their ororo Heated Apparel. ororo will select one winner each day for their chance to win an ororo Heated Gear Pack valued at over $350 and includes one adult piece and one dog piece of heated apparel. To participate in the photo booth competition, just stop by the ororo activation, take a photo in the ororo photo booth, and post your photo on Instagram tagging @ororo.wear and use hashtag #ororoatWKC150. If you show our team you are participating in the competition, you will also be rewarded with a $20 ororo physical gift card. ororo will reach out to you directly at the end of each day if you are a winner!
