My unforgettable moment is running flyball at Westminster in the cold, New York winter. Ororo helped keep me and my dog warm between runs and able to perform at our best to win the division.

Me my wife Terra and my son Mason at Sauðárkrókur, located in the Skagafjörður region of North Iceland with the Ferryman Statue (Ferjumaðurinn). It is a monument dedicated to Jón Ósmann, a famous local ferryman who spent decades safely transporting travelers across the hazardous waters of the Héraðsvötn river before modern roads and bridges were built in the region. As you can see we were all able to withstand the bitter winds and cold in various Ororo gear.

I am a 60 year-old wildlife keeper working in the Tasmanian outdoors. I hate the cold, which is exasperated by having Raynaud’s disease. I discovered ororo in 2021 & haven’t looked back since, becoming somewhat of an addict! I now own 2 different kinds of gloves, socks, a vest & a hand warmer & use them all not only for work, but also for hiking. My ororo gear has made it possible to continue to work outdoors & has increased my adventuring pleasure as I can concentrate just on the fun. The socks actually prevented me from ending up in hospital after a caving trip. We had spent the day crawling through tiny tunnels in knee-deep freezing water & by lunchtime, I was in tears from the pain in my feet. The guide took one look at my purple & white feet & was worried about frostbite. I popped my ororo socks on, my feet thawed, so no hospital for me & we continued exploring in the afternoon (in a dry cave!)! Don’t be fooled by the shorts, my ororo photos were taken in spring! The gear remains in my car just in case & I was wearing all of it today (& pants!) as the temp dropped again.

I have Scleroderma and Raynaud’s Syndrome, which frequently affect my circulation and cause me to become very cold, especially my core, hands and feet. My life improved enormously when I ordered my first fleece vest from ororo. What a game changer! I could now press the “on” button whenever my core temperature plummeted and keep my hands warm in the pockets. I loved it so much that I bought a fleece jacket for my 95 year old father, who was always cold. He wears it almost every day, even in the summer. I have bought other products from ororo, all of which I love, and another jacket for my father, so that I could wash one while he was wearing the other. In the picture, you can see my father, my daughter and me all wearing our ororo garments, staying warm in a restaurant, enjoying breakfast.

I found my cold-weather biking soulmate in the ororo Amsterdam Heated Mittens. After trying other gloves that are “cold-rated” and “windproof” I was still left with frozen fingers after my winter bike rides. The difference is absolutely the active heat. Winter biking with a wind chill can drop the temperature by 5 to 10 degrees colder than the actual air temperature and your fingers clutching the brakes take the brunt of it. But the ororo mittens with the heating elements keep my fingers warm. The wind- and water-resistant fabric helps and they are flexible enough to let me shift gears and brake without a hitch. These mittens have been the best biking investment I’ve made and let me reclaim the joy biking during the cold winter. They’ve turned winter rides from a battle against the cold into something I actually look forward to.

They have gotten me through the last few winters, so much so that I have gotten rid of all of my non-ororo heated gear. And I’ve purchased heated ororo vests for all of the barn staff. I recently spent a week in Scotland riding on Knoydart where the weather is cold, windy, and rainy. I packed an ororo vest and jacket and two batteries and had zero issues staying warm and dry!

Love my Ororo vest! It is the only thing that gets me through two days of soccer tournaments in November! This picture is from 2022 and my vest is still GOING STRONG, the only difference is that now every member of my family has at least one ororo item.

I am from AZ. We went to Alaska in October of 2024 for a Northern Lights trip. I had the heated muffin and heated socks with me.They were a lifesaver. I would have been miserable without them. They worked well and are so easy to use. I love Ororo products! I’m going to Norway in 2025 and ordered more Ororo products to keep me warm during our Northern Lights viewing. Thank you for making such great products!
