How does Aerogel work in insoles?
Aerogel is extremely lightweight and porous, and has low thermal conductivity. It acts as a thermal barrier that prevents the cold from penetrating the sole of the shoes and keeps your body heat from escaping. -

Great replacement insole

Best insole I have found for shoe fit and accurate size. Really does help keep your feet a little warmer in the winter. I’ve put them in all my work shoes.

very thin

I'm not sure these will provide much insulation vs. normal insoles. They seem to be very thin. We'll see.

My insoles work well.

The insoles work well, but I have been experiencing single digit temperatures. The very cold temperatures give the insoles a real test. They are more comfortable than plain insoles. I work at an NHL hockey arena.

Put them in my 20 year old ski boots...better than my original foot bed inserts when I bought boots in 2004..

Adds a nice bit of warmth!

I wear these in my work boots on top of arch supports and they are thin enough to not make the boots too tight, and they provide a nice bit of warmth without my feet sweating.

Haven't worn yet

I think they will be helpful in my winter boots when the weather gets colder, but they donot have any arch support so I will not be able oto wear them on th daily.
