Sure, you can wear it on the plane. All ororo heated apparel is TSA-friendly. All ororo batteries are lithium batteries and you must keep them in your carry-on luggage.

Will the heated apparel work at temperatures below 32℉/0℃?
Yes, it will still work well. However, if you’re going to spend a lot of time in sub-zero temperatures, we recommend you purchase a spare battery so you don’t run out of heat!

Love the lightweight down heated vest
Men's Heated Lightweight Down Vest - Black Black / L
THis was a christmas present to myself for use around our chilly house and for working outside in the cold, so I sized it to fit well so I can wear it underneath outerwear. I am 6'3" 195 lbs and I ordered Large and it fits well. Many of my coworkers in the film industry wear these coats because they often are stuck standing still while shooting outside in the weather so the battery heating provides some stability when they can't move around to stay warm. Nice product because you can stay warm without turning it on and save the battery for the chilly moments. Battery lasts a full day if needed

Men's Heated Lightweight Down Vest - Black Black / S
I first ordered the classic heated vest in M for my husband but the bottom was very loose on him. This vest looked like it had a slimmer fit and I sized down to a S. Fits much better and has a draw string at the bottom! For reference he is 6 ft 175 lbs. He has been wearing it a lot in this below zero weather!

Warm Vest
Men's Heated Lightweight Down Vest - Black Black / XL
This heatd down filled vest is very nice. it is warm in general and wonderfu when the heating element is activated. My only negative remark would be a size issue. I selected XL and find it to be a tad ibt snug.. I woul drather have selected 2XL but that was greyed ut. It shoud be stated that the vests tend to run a little snug and ordering the next up size might be wise.. and then have the 2XL available. Richard
