Sure, you can wear it on the plane. All ororo heated apparel is TSA-friendly. All ororo batteries are lithium batteries and you must keep them in your carry-on luggage.

Will the heated apparel work at temperatures below 32℉/0℃?
Yes, it will still work well. However, if you’re going to spend a lot of time in sub-zero temperatures, we recommend you purchase a spare battery so you don’t run out of heat!

Hand warmer tight on wrists
"Queen City" Unisex Heated Hand Warmer - Black
The hand warmer is warm except that the it is challenging to get fingers into. My hands are average in size and they are still tight to plane on the warmer. My husband has larger hands and the piece didn't really work for him. Unfortunately, it is not returnable.

Nice Idea but not Warm Enough
"Queen City" Unisex Heated Hand Warmer - Black
The idea is good, but we fond that the level of heat, even on high, was not sufficient to keep our hands warm. We won't be using it.
