Sure, you can wear it on the plane. All ororo heated apparel is TSA-friendly. All ororo batteries are lithium batteries and you must keep them in your carry-on luggage.

Will the heated apparel work at temperatures below 32℉/0℃?
Yes, it will still work well. However, if you’re going to spend a lot of time in sub-zero temperatures, we recommend you purchase a spare battery so you don’t run out of heat!

I love the quality and weight of this jacket. I already own an Ororo heated vest and wanted something long sleeved and heavier. When I received my jacket, I realized the charger was missing. I emailed Ororo after 8 pm and received a response almost immediately. I explained the situation. The next more I received an email stating my charger had shipped. That is outstanding customer service!

I bought the jacket on final sale, so I can't return it. When it arrived, the plastic packaging was ripped, and while the jacket was expertly folded, smelled strongly of perfume. the box the battery comes in was also ripped and the cable was loose. I strongly suspect I was sold a returned jacket that i can't wear because of the smell. I have tried airing it out and washing it, but it still smells too much for my allergies to allow me to wear it.
