Sure, you can wear it on the plane. All ororo heated apparel is TSA-friendly. All ororo batteries are lithium batteries and you must keep them in your carry-on luggage. -
What is the best way to wear the heated fleece vest?
We recommend wearing the heated fleece vest as a mid-layer. For optimal warmth, wear a lightweight base layer underneath and add a windproof or waterproof jacket on top if needed. This way, the vest efficiently traps heat while keeping you comfortable in different weather conditions.

I had contacted customer service to help trouble shoot one of my vests. They make the process of reporting an issue/ contacting them super easy. I provided the requested information and documentation, within 24 hours (not even!) I had full resolution. My replacement vest is not the color I had originally purchased, however it is absolutily stunning and I will be able to wear it to work! I gave the vest as a gift to a friend that loves her other heated vest. After wearing it one time realized it wasn’t warm like her other one at all even though she researched it. Unfortunately she didn’t keep the packaging so ororo would not do anything. I also never received my $10 gft card.

We bought this fleece vest for my wife two years ago, but recently found that the heating elements were not getting very warm anymore. I contacted Ororo for a warranty replacement on the vest. While there were several hoops to jump through, they did honor the warranty and sent us a replacement quickly. Thank you Ororo! My wife is warm once more. :)
